The charity supports both women and men of the North East with the early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer. The charity was founded in 1964 and is going from strength to strength with Kathryn’s passion and determination. They have provided equipment to diagnose early breast cancer, donated the state-of-the-art biopsy system, and updated ultrasound machines. They also provide grants for Breast Cancer Research and support the cost of postgraduate researchers.
