We supply an extensive range of quality products suitable for a variety of applications to help businesses manage their workforce effectively. From clocking cards to biometric systems, we are constantly evaluating the latest innovative technology on the market, supplying advanced computer-linked time management systems such as face recognition, fingerprint and smart card attendance terminals.
With strong roots in the North East, NETR was established in Newcastle Upon Tyne before moving to Blaydon, Gateshead in 1970. Our premises now house administration offices, a fully equipped workshop and our dedicated IT and support department. In 1972, we founded Blaydon Communications Ltd, our sister company, specialising in sound and communication products.
Our team is dedicated to supplying the best and most reliable products at competitive prices while providing exceptional customer service. We now have a client base of over 9000 customers nationally; including major blue-chip companies, local authorities, and health trusts. We are proud to have become a leading supplier in the time and attendance industry.

I began my journey with North East Time Recorders’ sister company, Blaydon Communications, in the early 90s through the then Youth Training Scheme. It was this training that laid the foundation for my future career.
In 1997, I was involved in a management buyout, which saw me take up the position of Company Director, responsible for adhering to legal requirements and upholding the integrity of our operations.
In 2008, our then Managing Director retired, and my business partner and I took up leadership roles across both companies.
Recently, my business partner, who had served as Managing Director, retired, which saw me transition into my current role of Managing Director.
As the current Managing Director, I am privileged to lead an exceptional team. Our focus is on providing market-leading customer service, expanding our customer base, and establishing our brand as the preferred solution for businesses in and around the North East. Our commitment to quality and reliability enables us to offer tailored systems that meet our client’s needs and help them overcome their challenges.
