Each project focuses on creating a beautiful, impactful portfolio of images that highlight what is truly unique about both the individual and their business. I have had some form of camera in my hand for pretty much the whole of my adult life.
I just love the mixture of technical and creative skills required to capture meaningful images that resonate with their intended audience.
Being able to capture the emotion of a fleeting moment is both an extreme pleasure and occasional frustration that continually drives me to improve my skills and deliver the best possible outcome, whatever the project, whether it is for my personal photography or for clients.
My background is in professional services. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Internal Auditor and have spent pretty much my whole working career building my understanding of businesses of all sizes and shapes and my relationships with the people working in them. This puts me in a great place to be able to understand the challenges faced by business owners and bring a level of professionalism to everything I do.
For most of this time, photography has been a creative outlet, an opportunity for mindfulness. However, over the past few years, I have begun to work with a number of local businesses to provide their imagery to help raise their profiles. Owing to increasing demand for these client services, I took the decision to leave my day job early in 2025 to focus solely on photography.
This experience has given me a fantastic opportunity to turn my hobby into my day job whilst, at the same time, also giving me a great perspective of going through the hard yards of building a business in the current climate, furthering my understanding of the struggles of other businesses out there.
