Manosun is a South Tyneside business and we are Hand Protection Specialists supplying Industrial hand protection to our industries, a lot of people see gloves as a hindrance when carrying out tactile tasks. With today’s engineered yarns we can offer a protective glove that feels more like a second skin and still protect from Cut, Burns, Impact, Chemical and high-risk environments like ARC and FR.
As well as offering a quality range of gloves and sleeves we also help the end-user by offering a free Hand Protection Survey to highlight the requirements of the process, this document can also be used to support work operations and risk assessments. Hi my name is Steve Patterson and I am the UK Director of Manosun Ltd, the company was launched in 2020 during difficult Global times.
I have worked within the hand protection industry since 2006 for several UK brands and most recently a North American company responsible for European product development.
The launch of my brand Manosun would not have been possible without the sponsorship of my manufacturing partner in China, without this support my dream of doing-what-we-do would never have materialised.
My background before hand protection was the North East’s automotive sector where I worked for 15 years and during this time I was responsible for the management of PPE onsite within the HSE department and the rest is history.
