About

Company Bio

With over 25 years of professional broadcasting & production experience for both BBC and commercial radio, I’m now one of the UK’s most heard voiceover artists and a voice of a number of major brands including Lavazza, E:On, Princess Cruises, Butlins and Etihad to name a few,  winning over 10 top industry awards. I provide a range of voiceover and media production services, from on hold announcements and corporate explainer videos & e learning course narration, to radio & TV commercials and live event “Voice of God” announcements.

I also work with companies to produce branded podcasts including for North East institutions such as Northumbria University and Kielder Observatory. I have a professional studio at my base in Ryhope which can be used to record in quality, or I can bring the recording to you, even if it’s the middle of a forest!  In addition to pure audio, I’m also able to produce video content too, particularly showcasing corporate events and seminars.  Plus I’m also working heavily with British Speedway producing their podcasts, and also working as a commentator on live TV coverage at events across the UK.

I have been a radio presenter since the age of around 5 when I got my first record player, since then that has been my life..! I have worked in radio professionally since 1997 starting out as a travel news reporter for the North of England, and eventually moving to work at the BBC in Leeds as a presenter and producer. I found my way to the North East when I became a presenter on Sun FM in the late 90’s, which is also where I met my partner and so here I still remain.

I’ve worked for radio stations across the UK in places such as Cardiff, Nottingham, Birmingham, my original home of Yorkshire, and London.

Voiceover work has been a part of my career from the off really but the main focus on it came around 12 years ago, and over the time have been fortunate to voice for some major brands and have literally been heard by billions of people which is pretty scary.  My 7 year old daughter is also now doing some VoiceOver work, to be fair she’s getting better work than me..!
