Impressionist, comedian, voice over artist, presenter, writer and actor. Cal Halbert is quickly becoming the most in demand comedian and presenter in the North East of England. Cal Halbert has performed from comedy clubs to the home of variety the London Palladium, Britain’s Got Talent and The Gadget Show to Good Morning Britain and voiced for YouTube and Premier League Football Clubs to the BBC and NHS.
Well known as an Impressionist, Halbert is one half of ‘The Mimic Men’. The UK’s only impressionist double act with Alfie Joey! Cal performed on Britain’s Got Talent in 2016 and gained four yeses accompanied by a standing ovation by the judges, audience and Ant and Dec. In 2020, Cal appeared in Sunday for Sammy at the Newcastle Utilita Area and continues to work closely with Ray Laidlaw of Lindisfarne and The Sunday For Sammy Charity.
Halbert is well respected on the after-dinner and sportsman’s circuit due to his work, previous career in Tennis and being the son-in-law of former Magpie and Northern Ireland International Tommy Cassidy.
In more recent years, Cal has been a champion of sobriety, having performed a solo stand up show entitled ‘Calcoholic – How Alcohol Ruined My Life’ receiving rave reviews and 5 star ratings.
